"We are like trees. Our roots are put down very deep. And we take things from the four directions and we take them into our lives. And if you pull us by the roots, find those beginnings that are strong so that we can live a good life."
Elder Betty McKenna, 2005.

Mem is a young Indigenous woman raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, however, I originate from Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation. Growing up in Regina I witnessed the hardships Indigenous women are often faced with and hope to one day work to fight this inequality. I am currently attending the University of British Columbia and am planning on majoring in political science and potentially getting into Law.
Our vision is to promote supportive environments, by creating healthy reciprocal and respectful relationships with Indigenous communities.
